Abstract:
Magnetic Equivalent Circuit (MEC) Analysis of Induction Motors
Course Contents:
- Discussing the finite element model of the benchmark induction motor.
- Generation of the MEC model of the induction motor using ANSYS Simplorer, MATLAB, or Python. The software tool is up to you.
- Derivation of static and dynamic characteristics of the motor using the MEC method.
- Comparison of the derived results with the MEC method with the counterpart finite element results.
